"European Young Entrepreneurs" participates as a partner for the creation of a European Forum

In the region of Cognac, France celebrates the European Forum for diversity and multiculturalism, as a network at European level.
Our organization will form part of this forum to establish an European- wide network of organizations and NGOs working in the field of youth, interculturality and diversity. This network will form a nongovernmental platform with the objetive of exchanging ideas, former experiencies and creating solidarity.

  • Objetives
Within this network we intend to set the focus on the following debates and actions:

- Promotion of diversity, interculturality and pluralism within every society and nation.
- Fight against all forms of discrimination and violence, especially on the grounds of nationality, ethnic origins, religion or belief, culture, sex, disability, age, sexual orientation and way of living.
- Promotion of intercultural and interreligius exchange.
- Support the social dialogue as a key element to develop more social justice.
- Fostering the integration and participation of the youth in order to make them stand up for their rights and to become an active member of their society.
- Supporting minorities and their basic human rights as well as democracy in general.

  • The working principles
This Forum want to open up for transnational operational fields in order to build up cross- border operations. Thereby the means of actions of FEDI include:

- Writing exposés, texts and reports; organize conferences, debates and task groups in order to exchange ideas and which can help to achieve the main objetives of FEDI.
- Participation in local and European iniciatives through projects and programs concerning youth, diversity and interculturality.
- Advice and influence the politics of regional, national and international organizations relating to youth and the promotion of diversity and interculturality.

  • Creation Network
The Organization "ADIF" in Cognac want to regroup twenty associations from eleven countries in order to settle and formalize the creation of this network, and work together on future projects at European and Euro- Mediterranean level.
Twenty participants will meet from 27 to 31 March 2013 in Cognac (France).
